Monday..

Well it's Monday.. An uneventful Monday, and that totally works for me.. I slept in until 11:15 today.. I was surprised to see how late it was.. 7:30 is sleeping in for me.. I probably would have slept later if Clay hadn't called..

I am enjoying my quiet time at home.. I spent the last 2 days watching season 1 of True Blood.. I'm not really sure why I'm watching it.. The story line is lame, the characters suck, and the writing ain't that great either.. Yet I watched the entire season..

I haven't done much more than sit around.. Just some cleaning, some laundry and crocheting.. I finished the bathroom rugs that I was working on, now I am working on a dresser scarf for the bedroom, then I think I will go back to work on my 'Clay is away blanket'.. That blanket is taking me forever.. But that was the plan.. I wanted something time consuming, so I decided to make a blanket that would cover my queen size bed.. I am using a very small hook and making the entire blanket with single stitch.. But amazingly, it's coming along..

Skie is grounded for a week.. Won't go into the details of why, but she will be spending the next week in her room without her phone and video games, and her end of the year pool party has been canceled.. Her attitude throughout the week will decide if she looses her lap top and television too.. She has been very agreeable today, and has done everything I have asked her to without complaining.. Lets hope it stays that way..

She is such a great kid, and very rarely gets in trouble.. Even when she does get in trouble, it's never serious enough to require more than a day in her room to make sure it doesn't happen again.. So on the rare occasion that she really does have to be punished, it really really sucks..
