A quiet moment..

Wow.. Haven't posted a real blog post in forever.. Clay is home, y'all knew that.. And, as you know, he moved our bedroom downstairs and Skie's bedroom upstairs, and the computers into a different room and helped me re-decorate the downstairs bathroom..
Then we spent several days at Sage and Moon's laying down a new floor..
Ok, well Clay did the floor, I did a few things here and there.. Mostly prying nails out of boards and stuff like that, but I had to stop because I had broken a nail and almost got a callous.. LOL
Yeah, yeah, I know.. Boo hoo.. Well, I am very protective of my nails.. Having been a nail biter most of my life, I finally broke the habit last year and have actually managed to grow some very pretty, natural nails.. Sooo even though breaking a nail may sound insignificant to you, it's very significant to me..
So yeah, I didn't really do much work, I just went to be with Clay and help him if he needed me.. Luckily for me, the best help I can usually be when he is working is to "get out of the way".. So it works for me.. Have I mentioned that I am not the physical labor type of girl?
Yeah, you probably got that huh?
Besides than the floors at Sage and Moon's, we have been busy running errands, babysitting the monsters (I say it with love Elaine) and doing work around the house..
We have to do yard work today.. The city will be coming by soon to spray any yards that have weeds.. I asked "what about our dogs?" because the stuff they are spraying is not safe for animals, or any other living creature for that matter.. We were pretty much told "not our problem".. If there are weeds in the yard, they will spray.. If not, they will just pass by.. So, rain or not (it's raining) we have to get the back yard cleaned up and all the weeds removed...
