My girl had a very happy birthday yesterday.. She made a killing in birthday money and bought new shoes, new jeans, 2 new shirts and and organizer for her locker.. She still had a check from my mom and another from Suzanne that I need to cash for her and has some cash left over too.. She got and additional $200.00 from us, some earrings (skulls and monkeys of course) and new boots.. She loves the boots.. Her friends picked her up after she had her purple birthday cake and took her to Vala's pumpkin patch.. She came back with a bag of kettle corn almost as big as she is..
Oh, in case anyone has forgotten, my husband rocks.. Aside from just being 
generally awesome, he got up this morning, made coffee, took Skie to school, then stopped at the store and picked up some bagels and onion cream cheese for my breakfast.. What a guy huh? And if that wasn't enough, he has raked all the leaves in the front yard, mowed the lawn, took apart the garbage disposal, unclogged it, and put it back together.. Then he unclogged the bathroom sink too! Seriously, I have the bestest husband ever.. Home for two days and he's already done the yard work and fixed the plumbing!
